What will you be doing?

This is a broad, hands-on role at the centre of how Lumon shows up in the market. You'll take ownership of our LinkedIn channel and support the delivery of our SEO content roadmap.

You'll also bring a sharp editorial eye: an instinct for what's ready to publish and what still needs another pass, whether it's your own work or someone else's.

You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and SEO, help manage a network of content and design freelancers, and keep multiple work-streams moving across both business divisions. Staying organised and on top of the detail is central to this role.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Content:

• Produce engaging, high-quality content across multiple formats including whitepapers, blog posts and website pages.

• Uphold brand guidelines. Maintain consistent tone, style and personality across every piece of content and every touchpoint.

Social Media & LinkedIn

• Plan, create, and deliver Lumon's social content calendar, with LinkedIn as the primary channel, driving organic growth, brand awareness, and engagement.

• Manage out ambassador and advocacy activity on LinkedIn, keeping content on-brand, on-message and compliant

SEO & Website Content

• Partner with the SEO Manager to plan, write and optimise web pages and articles, following SEO best practice to maximise organic performance.

• Get content live by uploading and building pages on the website using our CMS, taking content from final draft through to publication. No prior CMS experience needed, just a willingness to learn.

Freelancer & Project Management

• Brief and review content and design freelance contributors on schedule and on-brand.

• Manage freelancers, stakeholders and sign-off chains (including compliance) so nothing stalls waiting on someone else.

Collaboration & Insight

• Build strong relationships with SEO, Product, Sales and Compliance, so content supports commercial goals on both sides of the business.

• Bring in customer research and external insight so content stays relevant and grounded in what the audience needs.

• Analyse social and website metrics and turn the findings into practical next steps.

• Keep an eye on best-in-class content, tools and approaches from inside and outside the industry, and bring ideas back to the team.

What You'll Need

Essential

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Demonstrated editorial judgement. Able to review and tighten other people's work, not just your own.

• Proven experience creating content and managing a social media channel (2+ years preferred).

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience applying them to web content.

• Proactive. Chases approvals, freelancers and sign-offs without needing to be prompted.

• High levels of curiosity and ambition, low ego, and a genuine appetite to learn.

• Commercially minded, with good judgement and a bias for action.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CMS platforms, especially WordPress.

• An interest in UX and how content and site experience work together.

• Experience in financial services or another regulated finance environment.

• Design skills or experience with design software.
