Account Executive (Motor)
- Manage a portfolio of Motor Fleet and Commercial Motor clients, including mixed fleets, courier fleets, haulage, trades, and vehicle‑dependent SMEs.
- Lead the full renewal process: gathering claims experience, preparing market submissions, remarketing, and negotiating terms.
- Develop new business through referrals, networking, and targeted outreach within the local market.
- Provide technical advice on risk management, claims trends, and insurer appetites.
- Build strong relationships with insurers to secure competitive terms and support complex or distressed risks.
- Handle MTAs, and policy adjustments accurately.
- Conduct client meetings to review claims experience, and risk improvement opportunities.
- Maintain FCA-compliant documentation and uphold the company's service standards.
- Identify cross‑sell and upselling opportunities.
- Experience handling Motor Fleet or Commercial Motor and Commercial Combined/Combined Liability risks within a broker environment.
- Confident negotiating with underwriters and advising clients on risk management.
- Ability to manage a portfolio, drive retention, and generate new business.
- Excellent communication, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Cert CII (or working towards) preferred.
- Comfortable working independently with a commercial, client‑focused mindset.
