SEN TA - Wandsworth
A well-resourced primary school in Wandsworth is recruiting a compassionate and reliable SEN TA to join the inclusion team from January 2026. The SEN TA will provide one-to-one and small-group support, deliver established intervention programmes and help pupils access the curriculum. This SEN TA post in Wandsworth includes a full induction and handover prior to January 2026, with the successful SEN TA in post from January 2026 and supported throughout the spring term.

Working in Wandsworth, the SEN TA will liaise with the SENCo and class teachers to adapt resources, run literacy and numeracy interventions and implement sensory or regulation strategies. The SEN TA will support pupils’ social and emotional development, foster independence and record progress to demonstrate impact. Responsibilities
Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to increase access to learning as a SEN TA.
Deliver structured intervention programmes and record outcomes to inform the SENCo.
Adapt and prepare resources so pupils can access lesson content in Wandsworth.
Support pupils’ social–emotional development and implement agreed regulation strategies.
Communicate progress to teachers, families and multi-disciplinary colleagues in Wandsworth.
Person specification
Experience supporting pupils with SEND in school or specialist settings as a SEN TA.
Practical knowledge of small-group interventions, behaviour strategies and differentiation.
Calm, observant and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families in Wandsworth.
Reliable, flexible and available to start January 2026, attending induction before January 2026.
