Are you a committed and ambitious Key Stage 1 teacher ready to step into a role with leadership opportunity? We’re looking for a dynamic Year 2 Teacher to join our friendly, welcoming school community in the heart of Haringey.

Why this role is special:

Located in a vibrant, cosmopolitan part of London, our school serves children from richly diverse backgrounds—and we don’t just tolerate difference, we celebrate it. Rooted in a caring Christian ethos and underpinned by strong values, we believe every child is unique, cherished and capable of success. With a warm, supportive staff team, a lively and happy environment, and a strong extended community culture, this is a school where you’ll truly make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, teach and assess engaging Year 2 lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Lead a specific area of school development (e.g., reading, maths, or curriculum innovation) working alongside senior staff.

• Foster a classroom climate of high expectations, curiosity and creativity, while promoting independence, confidence and cooperation.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider community to support children’s learning, wellbeing and growth.

• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and help shape the next phase of our journey—including celebrating diversity and maintaining our inclusive culture.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in Key Stage 1.

• Demonstrate strong classroom leadership and a passion for raising achievement.

• Be inspired by our mission to value every child, encourage difference and foster high aspirations.

• Be a team-player who thrives in a lively, caring and forward-looking environment.

• Have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the drive to lead an element of school improvement.

Perks & Benefits:

• Competitive salary scale reflective of experience.

• A permanent contract in a school committed to staff wellbeing, professional growth and leadership development.

• Located in London, Haringey—easy transport links, a buzzing community, and access to rich cultural opportunities.

• Join a small but strong school community with a real sense of purpose, belonging, and shared achievement.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, making a tangible impact while growing as a leader in primary education, we’d love to hear from you.
