A successful and community-driven girls’ secondary school in Lambeth is recruiting a compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to work closely with pupils, staff, and families.

This school has a strong focus on wellbeing and behaviour support, with a highly regarded safeguarding and pastoral structure.
Role Responsibilities
• Offering emotional & behavioural support to pupils
• Liaising with year leaders, parents and external agencies
• Monitoring attendance, behaviour logs and safeguarding records
• Supporting mentoring programmes and interventions
• Encouraging positive relationships and student wellbeing
Requirements
• Experience in pastoral or wellbeing support (school preferred)
• Understanding of safeguarding practices
• Confident communicator with strong empathy
• Ability to build trust with young people
