Creative & Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a Creative & Marketing Assistant to work closely with the founder across the creative direction, storytelling and day-to-day marketing of MAYA NORA. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to take real ownership of the brand’s day-to-day marketing while helping build and maintain a cohesive MAYA NORA brand world across social media, imagery, graphic design, campaigns and written communication. This is a part-time role of approximately 10-15 hours per week, based in London with a hybrid working structure. This is an initial 3-month part-time position, with the potential to develop into a longer-term role with increased responsibility as the brand grows. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage day-to-day social media activity across social channels
- Curate and edit social content in line with the MAYA NORA aestheticÂ
- Manage content planning and scheduling across social channels
- Support email marketing, campaign launches and wider digital marketing activities
- Create and edit visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- Assist with creative direction, visual storytelling and maintaining consistency across all brand touchpoints
- Research social media, fashion, cultural and creative trends and translate relevant insights into ideas for the brand
- Manage and support influencer gifting, outreach and PR communication
- Assist with content shoots, campaign preparation and creative production
- Support Shopify, customer communication and general day-to-day brand operations where required
- Work directly alongside the founder on new ideas, campaigns and the continued development of the MAYA NORA brand world
- A strong visual eye and instinct for aesthetics, storytelling and curation
- A good understanding of digital marketing and confidence taking ownership of day-to-day marketing activities
- Strong understanding of social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok
- An understanding of content strategy, brand positioning and building an engaged online community
- Good graphic design skills and confidence using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual storytelling and brand consistency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong awareness of fashion, social media, cultural and creative trends
- A proactive, independent approach and the confidence to bring forward ideas rather than simply follow instructions
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Shopify and email marketing platforms is desirable
- A genuine interest in fashion, branding, content and growing an independent fashion business
- A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant creative, graphic design, content, branding or social media work
