About You
This role sits within Faculty Education Services in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (FoLSM) at Kings College London at our London Bridge campus.
Faculty Education Services provides coordinated services for students, staff & partner providers, enabling the delivery of education through managing quality, programme,placementand assessment administration. We provide dedicated student support that prioritises the student experience tofacilitatestudent success.
The role forms part of the Programme Placement & Assessment Team within Faculty Education Services,providing professional, high-quality service provision in the support of Bioscience education. The Programme Management team supports students and academic staff in the delivery and management of the academic cycle across a large suite of Undergraduate and Postgraduate taughtprogrammes.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Programme Officer in a busy,vibrantand supportive team within FoLSM. The post holder will provide administrative support and guidance across a large portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes of study. As a Programme Officer, the role holder will be a representative for the team and Faculty,demonstratingour standards and promoting our service.
The Programme Officer is part of a team that delivers a high quality comprehensive and professional service that meets agreed standards andexpectations;providing excellent service and support for our students.
The role reports to the Programme Manager, with supervision from Senior Programme Officers, to deliveran accurate, compliant and timely service across a wide range of tasks, including, but not limited to, supporting student and staff enquiries on a daily basis,timetabling, module evaluation, student registration, DBS and OH processes, committee servicing, attendance & engagement monitoring and supporting events.
The post holder has a responsibility, individually and as part of the team, in ensuring systems, processes and data management areaccurateand adhere to regulations, both internal, such as academic regulations and agreed procedures, and externally such as GDPR and information compliance.
The post holder will work with academic and professional services colleagues from across Faculty Education Services, the wider Faculty and the University contributing to ourhigh levelservice provision and our ethos of continual improvement to delivery.
This is afull timepost (35 hours per week) and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
