French Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Teach French across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop all four language skills.

• Build students' confidence in spoken French through interactive activities.

• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence construction.

• Introduce students to French-speaking cultures and traditions.

• Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations and assessments.

• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Differentiate lessons to support students with varying abilities.

• Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular language activities.
