Appointed Person does:Writes the Lifting Plan / RAMSChooses crane, capacity, radius, ground conditionsDecides sling types, shackles, SWLDoes crane / lift categorisation (Basic / Intermediate / Complex)Signs off the liftWith Rigger Diagram Experience means:Can read AND draw lift / rigging studiesProduces AutoCAD / Lift-Plan drawing showing:Crane position, radius, boom lengthLoad weight, CoG (Centre of Gravity)Sling angles, sling tensionExclusion zones, matting sizeStep-by-step rigging sequenceUses software: AutoCAD, AutoLIFT, Lift-Plan, Crane Planner 2.0Qualifications Lot 7 will want:CPCS A61 - Appointed Person - Blue card - ESSENTIALCPCS A40 / Slinger / Banksman background - usually ex-slingerECITB / LEEA / Rigging qualificationSSSTS / SMSTSCCNSG Safety Passport - for Lot 7 industrial5+ years as AP on heavy industrial / power / modulesCan produce rigging diagrams - portfolio
