  • Hybrid Working - 3:2 (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home).
  • Salary - Base Salary - £70,000 to £80,000 + benefits and discretionary bonus (TC £80k to £100k)
  • Right to Work - Full UK Right to Work - (No PSV or Dependent Visas) - client will not offer sponsorship.

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end post trade operations for OTC derivatives across multiple asset classes. Please note we need candidates with Buy Side Asset Management experience for this role, this is a specific client requirement.

The successful candidate will manage operational processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team responsible for the lifecycle of derivative transactions.

Investment Operations teams typically manage the full post-trade lifecycle from trade capture through settlement and reporting ensuring transactions are processed accurately and processing life cycle events on OTC transactions, and driving projects to improve Operational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities---

OTC Trade Lifecycle Management and Team Oversight-

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of OTC derivatives trades, including:
  • Trade capture and validation
  • Confirmation and affirmation
  • Clearing and settlement
  • Collateral management
  • Valuation and reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate processing of derivative transactions in accordance with internal policies and market regulations.

Operations Oversight - Team Management -

  • Manage day-to-day derivatives operations processes, team of 2 ppl in London and reporting into Director of Operations.
  • Lead and mentor operations analysts and specialists.
  • Resolve operational breaks and trade discrepancies.
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Professional certifications (CFA, FRM) preferred

Experience

  • 7–10+ years in OTC derivatives operations or middle office roles in Asset Management is a prerequisite - please only apply if you have buy side asset management or hedge fund experience.
  • Experience with OTC derivatives such as swaps, options, forwards, and futures.
  • Strong knowledge of collateral management and post-trade processing.
  • Leadership and team management

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
