Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Microsoft Stack Development Manger join our high profile client.

Our client is a recently acquired financial technology business who is currently taking the factoring and invoicing market by storm. This is a brand new project to create an efactoring platform and CRM system from scratch.

The Development Manager role is expansionary due to a brand new development office being created. The Development manager will provide strong leadership to a small team of experienced developers, Business Analysts and Software Testers and act as a key conduit between senior business stakeholders and technology. The Software Development Manager will ensure maximum uptime in a critical transactional finance website.

• Assisting the VP Technology, Software Engineering in building 4 high performing agile teams in a new near shore location.
• Candidate selection and interviewing
• Owning defect triage process and ensuring defects get to the right squads and are fixed in a timely manner.
• Working with VP Technology, Software Engineering and TechOps to improve QA automation coverage and build out CI/CD pipeline to enable faster delivery to production.
• Working with scrum masters and product managers to ensure a solid, refined, prioritised backlog is present for all squads.
• Implementing best practices to build high performing agile teams

The frontend development of their web platform in HTML5, Angular.js and CSS3 and the backend in .net core and noSQL. It is hosted on AWS.

We are looking for a Development Manager with Agile and Scrum experience hands on development will not be required.

Development Managers must have: (Below also shows tech stack)

• 5 years commercial Development Management experience Usually in MS Stack
• An understanding of Angular
• An Agile qualification,
• Experience of internal and external conflict management
• Have experience leading teams in an agile fast changing environment.
• Be delivery focused and able to quickly turn ideas from concept to live market leading technology.
• AWS or Cloud exposure
• SQL and database design.
• Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, information architecture and usability principles
