Commercial Trainee - RISE Programme

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Trainee to join our team within Vistry Group. Based at our Stratford Office from September 2026, you will provide support to the wider Surveying and Estimating team and gain experience across an array of Commercial activities and practice whilst gaining experience, training and relevant qualifications to further your professional career. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience while working towards a higher Level 4 apprenticeship to further develop your skills and knowledge.

    • 4 GCSEs A-C/4-9. Two of these must be Maths and English
    • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification. For example, NVQ or diploma Level 3 or equivalent / T Level / BTEC Diploma or 2 A Levels (minimum grade D or above)
    • A genuine interest in developing your career within our commercial function
    • Well organised and IT Literate
    • Professional communication style with the ability to work within a team of varying seniority within the business
    • Full UK driving licence (desirable)

    • Apply health and safety issues to all activities
    • Demonstrate application of the principles of sustainability
    • Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects
    • Be able to apply different types of contracts to different situations
    • Assist in the selection of and negotiation with specialist contractors for a construction project
    • Assist in the measurement and costing of construction works during a project
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow and cost forecasts for a construction project
    • Assist in the collection, collation and storage of relevant data and its analysis
