SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant Shepherds Bush
A mainstream primary school in Shepherds Bush is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with high levels of additional need.
This role will involve providing more intensive support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning and participate successfully in the school day.
You will work with pupils individually and in small groups, adapting activities and providing support with communication, engagement, emotional regulation and independence. Youll work closely with class teachers and the schools SEND team to provide consistent support based around each child's individual needs.
The school is particularly interested in Teaching Assistants who have previous experience supporting children with high needs, complex SEND, autism or significant learning needs. Youll need to be patient, resilient and confident adapting your approach to different pupils.
This is a mainstream primary school role but requires someone with strong SEN experience who is comfortable providing a higher level of individualised support.
If you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a SEND role in Shepherds Bush, apply now to be considered.
Ethos Education Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be willing to undergo a thorough vetting procedure, including an enhanced DBS check.
