Job Description:
Remedy Recruitment is currently seeking Midday Meal Supervisors to join a large and inclusive SEN Secondary School in Lewisham, South East London . This rewarding part-time role involves supervising pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the lunch hall and in the playground. You will also assist with personal care and medication , so experience with Autism and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) is essential.

This position is ideal for individuals looking for part-time hours who have previous experience supporting young people with special needs in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising students during lunch, both indoors and outdoors

• Supporting pupils with personal care and administering medication as needed

• Maintaining a calm, safe, and structured lunchtime environment

• Working collaboratively with other midday staff and SEN support teams

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism and PMLD

• Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a school setting

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to travel to Lewisham on a part-time basis
