Teaching Assistant - Highly Successful School in Hillingdon
A highly successful school in Hillingdon is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its team on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children and wants to make a meaningful contribution to their education. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils to help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
About the Role
The Teaching Assistant will provide classroom and targeted support, helping pupils to remain engaged and make strong progress. You will work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils during lessons and learning activities
Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
Working closely with teachers to meet individual learning needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation

Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
A caring, patient and positive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Good organisational and teamwork skills
A genuine interest in supporting children's education
