Full-time Nanny Housekeeper in Marylebone, London, Job ID J21A0A
A lovely family based in Marylebone, London, is seeking a highly experienced Nanny-Housekeeper to support them with their newborn baby, due in the second week of December 2026, while helping maintain their private residence.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience and will speak fluent English. Someone warm, calm, highly experienced, organised, and confident caring for newborns would be ideal for this role.
Strong newborn experience is very important, especially with sleep management, feeding, hygiene, establishing routines, observing cues, and supporting age-appropriate development. The nanny-housekeeper will assist with nappy changes, preparing bottles, bathing, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring the baby’s safety, well-being, and development.
The role will also include keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy, preparing nutritious meals and snacks when age appropriate, and supporting the child’s daily routine as they grow.
Housekeeping duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the private residence, including floor care, dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen maintenance, laundry, ironing, bed making, linen changes, and dishware organisation.
Cooking for the parents will also be required 2 to 3 times per week.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 to 19:30, and Friday, 8:30 to 17:30. These hours are not negotiable as they are aligned with the parents’ working hours.
Duties include:
- caring for a newborn baby
- supporting sleep management and feeding routines
- preparing bottles for the baby
- assisting with nappy changes
- bathing the baby and maintaining proper hygiene
- observing the baby’s cues and changes in behaviour or health
- establishing consistent daily routines
- supporting age-appropriate development
- ensuring the child’s safety, well-being, and development
- keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- preparing meals and snacks for the child when age appropriate
- maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the private residence
- sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
- washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens
- managing laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing linens as needed
- cleaning and organising dishware
- loading and unloading the dishwasher
- cooking for the parents 2 to 3 times per week
The family is looking for someone who can start on 14 December 2026.
