Client Overview:
Our client is a happy 7-year-old girl who lives at home with my mum and her older brothers and spends weekends with her dad. She lives with a tracheostomy, so a female carer with experience in tracheostomy care would be advantageous. This bubbly girl attends Primary School during the week. This happy girl is spends her time babbling away and always has a smile on her face despite her condition. She enjoys socializing especially with her favourite people like her mum and dad. She is friendly, playful, and loves spending time with family and familiar carers. She also enjoys school activities and loves watching TV or playing with her tablet.
What HFH offers?
- Hourly pay rates range between £14 – 17.93 p/hr*.
- Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.
- Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12hrs.
- Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 - 555 p/wk*.
- The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three day a week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950*.
- We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax. PAYE also protects you from breaching IR35 tax regulations.
Job Purpose:
To deliver defined aspects of holistic care to the client guided by individualised care plans and HFH Healthcare policies.
To create and maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere in which clients can achieve their goals through clear communication and teamwork.
To mentor new members of the care team in all aspects of client specific care
To supervise and delegate tasks to double up staff
