Residential Care Worker
Join us as a Residential Childcare Support Worker in vibrant Greater London, covering Camden, Haringey & Islington. Enjoy a fixed 12-hour shift pattern with a guaranteed minimum average of 168 hours per month, plus 236 hours annual leave. Unqualified, you'll earn £30,277.23 to £31,208.49, rising to £31,867.18 upon completing a Level 3 Diploma. Work permeant shifts from 08:00 to 20:00, supporting young people aged 11-18 in a family-style environment.

The Work
- Provide emotional and social support to young people with behavioral and emotional needs
- Create a safe, nurturing environment promoting individual development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
- Support daily living needs and household tasks
- Engage young people in positive activities and community involvement
What You Need
- Experience in care sector or residential care (or commitment to gain Level 3 Diploma)
- Empathetic, reflective and positive nature
- Ability to work individually and within a team
- Willingness to work some Bank Holidays
- Enhanced DBS check (if successful)
Desirable
- Existing Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare
- Experience in residential childcare
