Senior Analyst - Financial Reporting
The Consumer Products division of Hasbro European Services provides services for the licensing business of Hasbro International Inc. (HII). We are currently recruiting for this position, based in London, UK.

This role is based in Capper Street, London, UK , with hybrid working. You will be required in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This is a full-time position.

As our Senior Analyst – Financial Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in driving disciplined expense oversight and strategic investment for our Licensed Consumer Products and Entertainment businesses.
Acting as a critical business partner to cross-functional leaders, this role is responsible for delivering timely, actionable insights into operating expenses—ensuring the company maintains financial agility while supporting growth objectives.
This role demands a strong command of forecasting, budget management, and variance analysis, paired with excellent communication and strategic influencing skills.
Your responsibilities include:
Financial Close & Accruals
- Owning the monthly accruals process, ensuring timely and accurate recognition of expenses.
- Collaborating with accounting teams to support a smooth and compliant month-end close.
- Reconciling cost center expenses and ensuring the integrity of reported data.
Cost Center Transformation
- Actively participate in ongoing cost center and organizational restructuring initiatives.
- Supporting the design and implementation of standardized processes, tools, and reporting for cost center management.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts aimed at driving cost efficiency and process automation.
Financial Planning & Cost Management
- Performing detailed variance analysis between forecasted and actual financial results. Identifying key drivers of variances and providing actionable insights to business partners and senior leadership.
- Partnering cross-functionally to identify, evaluate, and implement cost-saving opportunities. Track progress against goals and work with HR to understand headcount information.
- Monitoring and managing departmental operating expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Preparing and submitting monthly forecasts and the annual Budget.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting professional bodies) is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Longview) is a plus.
- Be a self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
