Are you a visionary educator ready to lead one of our most successful and influential departments?Leigh Stationers’ Academy is seeking an ambitious Director of Learning - Humanities to drive excellence, curiosity, and innovation across our vibrant curriculum. This is a significant leadership role. You will oversee a large, diverse department, providing you with the opportunity to line manage and mentor a talented team of specialists. We are looking for a leader who can inspire both colleagues and students, ensuring that our high standards of teaching and learning continue to flourish across Geography, History, and Religious Studies. Who We Are Looking For The successful candidate will be an expert practitioner with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes. We are looking for a leader who is: • Capable of leading a large team and overseeing a complex range of disciplines with clarity and purpose.• Passionate about the Humanities, with the ability to teach your specialism across all Key Stages (including KS5).
• Ready to enhance our curriculum, integrate contemporary global issues, and strengthen our students’ connection to local and international communities.
