A lovely family in East Dulwich, London is looking for an after-school nanny to care for their school-aged child. They’re seeking someone warm, patient, and reliable, ideally with experience in tutoring or as a teaching assistant, as supporting with homework is an important part of the role. Responsibilities will include all standard childcare duties, along with helping the family by preparing simple evening meals.
The ideal candidate should be responsible, organised, and hardworking. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position to ensure the child’s safety and well-being.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:20 pm to 6:20 pm, approximately 15 hours per week
Duties include:
- Collecting the child from school
- Assisting with homework and school-related tasks
- Preparing meals and snacks for the child
- Arranging and supervising playdates
- Engaging in age-appropriate games and activities
- Reading stories to the child
- Encouraging the child to tidy away toys after use
- Supporting the evening routine, such as helping the child organise their bag for the next day
- Carrying out light laundry duties for the child’s clothing
- Occasional grocery shopping as required
They are looking for someone who can start on the 1st of September 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
