An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced audit professional to step up into an Audit Assistant Manager role within a fast-growing, forward-thinking Top 10 firm , with a strong and expanding Financial Services audit practice .

This role is particularly well suited to candidates with experience in, or an interest in, asset and wealth management, fintech, payments, crypto and digital assets . You'll join a collaborative London-based Audit team, playing a key role in managing assignments, supporting Financial Services clients, and developing junior team members.

What you will be doing as an Audit Assistant Manager

• Lead and deliver Financial Services audit engagements from planning through to completion

• Manage audits for clients across asset management, wealth management, fintech, payments and crypto-related businesses

• Build strong client relationships through regular interaction, resolving issues and managing expectations

• Prepare and review draft statutory accounts, audit reports and completion memoranda, including practical recommendations for improvement

• Review the work of junior team members, providing coaching, feedback and on-the-job training

• Identify risks, regulatory considerations and opportunities for clients through the audit process

• Support Managers and Partners with client delivery and ad-hoc Financial Services projects

What you will need to succeed as an Audit Assistant Manager

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

• Strong UK audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm

• Financial Services audit experience is highly desirable, particularly within asset management, wealth management, fintech or crypto

• Confident supervising, delegating and reviewing work within a team environment

• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with Financial Services clients

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
