Continental Shift – 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days
07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out LV electrical maintenance and fault-finding across the building
- Lighting – small installations, fault-finding, lamping, changing ballasts, control panels and power distribution
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning – AHUs / FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning
- Chillers – resetting and basic monitoring
- Water treatment – temperature checks (not dosing)
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Plumbing – including unblocking toilets
- Pumps and motors
- BMS system monitoring
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them
- Ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required
- Maintain informal communication with client staff regarding service levels and issues
- Report service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client
- Remain flexible regarding site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
- Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters
- Escort specialist subcontractors
- Electrically qualified to Level 3 or equivalent (C&G / NVQ etc.)
- 18th Edition
- LVAP authorised / LVAP experience
- Experience working within a large commercial building
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to get to the site for a 07:00 start
