Uniform Room Attendant - LondonWaldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Uniform Room Attendant to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Caf Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

As a Uniform Attendant, you will support laundry and uniform operations to ensure impeccable presentation standards across the hotel. You will collaborate closely with external laundry partners and internal departments while maintaining accurate control of uniform inventory and deposit systems.

You will perform all responsibilities to the highest standards of ultra-luxury hospitality, including:

  • Inspecting uniforms for cleanliness, condition, and presentation, completing minor repairs where required
  • Providing operational support to the laundry function as needed to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Carrying out wash cycles, folding linen, and ensuring correct storage in accordance with hotel standards
  • Liaising with external laundry suppliers and dry cleaners regarding uniform cleaning and quality requirements
  • Managing the uniform deposit system in coordination with the Finance department
  • Controlling the issue and return of uniforms for new and existing team members
  • Conducting uniform stock takes as requested to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensuring agreed par stock levels are consistently maintained
  • Correctly separating, storing, and disposing of soiled or damaged linen in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the linen room and uniform store
  • Reporting maintenance concerns and potential hazards promptly
  • Complying fully with hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation

A Uniform Room Attendant representing Hilton's luxury brands plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in upholding professional presentation standards. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A positive, dependable, and professional attitude
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • A methodical approach with strong organisational skills

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous experience within a laundry or linen operation
  • Experience in a similar uniform- or wardrobe-focused role
  • Basic sewing or garment repair skills
