Python Developer Times Fastest Growing Fintech
Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Python developer to join our high profile client in their main development team.
Our client is well known tech driven trading firm, they provide software to the market and also prop trade.
The most important part of their product will be the enterprise-grade technology platform written in Python and Twisted with a Django frontend.
As an Experienced Python Developer, you’ll be responsible for implementing new features for the system, diagnosing issues, and fixing bugs. Many of the projects you’ll work on will be oriented to provide services for customers, and you’ll be engaged in studying and improving how our customers interact with the system.
Backend engineers mostly work with Python on an increasingly more service-oriented architecture. The rest of the tech stack include Django Erlang REST Framework, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, AWS, ES6, React.js, Alt.js, Node.js, Express, Amazon Redshift, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, Celery, Pandas, Numpy, Scrapy, Git with Zenhub, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, Logstash and lots of raw SQL for analytics.
Python Developers Must Ideally Have:
Computer Science or Engineering degree.
Previous commercial experience of programming in an object-oriented, functional, or dynamic language.
Experience of developing in Python
A working knowledge of relational databases and SQL,
Experience developing with Linux, including the use of shell utilities such as grep, sed, find
An understanding of concurrency problems and solutions
