Salary: £227 - £292 per day
About the role
We're seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to deliver direct therapy interventions in a specialist SEND school environment. The successful candidate will work with pupils with complex communication and language needs, including those with autism, speech disorders, and profound learning difficulties.
The role will include:
- Delivering targeted speech and language therapy sessions
- Working with a multidisciplinary team (occupational therapists, SEND support staff, teachers)
- Collaborating on communication strategies across the school
- Contributing to pupils' therapy plans and progress monitoring
- Supporting staff training where relevant
About the successful candidate
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist and proven experience in special educational needs. Experience working with pupils with complex communication needs essential. Comfortable in a fast-paced SEND setting and understands the realities of working with non-verbal and pre-verbal learners.
