Senior Quantity Surveyor (London)

Places for People - Organic
London

This role is an exciting opportunity to help deliver major infrastructure projects, including works to service and enable land, highways projects and new community amenities, to help create an ambitious, sustainable and vibrant new community of 8,500 homes at the Gilston Park Estate in East Hertfordshire.

Gilston Park Estate is a once in a generation opportunity to deliver six distinct new villages bound together by landscape and community to the north of Harlow. It is unique in its design and infrastructure-led approach, with six distinct villages, each with their own character, buffered by accessible green spaces and, crucially, linked by a sustainable transport network which will enable residents' direct access to Harlow's economic opportunities and infrastructure plus accessibility by road and rail to elsewhere to achieve ambitious 60% modal shift targets. The infrastructure to be delivered includes major highways projects including new bridges over a river and railway, new country parks, community amenities and works to service and enable land for 8,500 new homes and supporting amenities including a leisure centre, sports facilities and a health centre.

At Places for People, we hire People, not numbers! So, if you like the sound of one of our jobs, please apply - you could be just who we're looking for! Of course, experience and track record are important, but we're more interested in hiring someone that embodies our People Promises.  That's someone that does the right thing, is enthusiastic and motivated to grow, believes in Community spirit, is respectful and enjoys their work.
