THE ROLE:The Director of Fitness to Practise will oversee a comprehensive review of Fitness to Practise operations and lead the implementation of transformative strategies. You will explore the use of digital tools and process innovations to enhance efficiency while upholding fairness and integrity. The role includes direct line management of a Fitness to Practise Manager and a Committee Administrator, who serves as the key liaison with the Professional Conduct Committee. THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be either a qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 8 years’ experience and have significant senior level experience within professional regulation. You will have extensive expertise in Fitness to Practise processes, public protection principles, and professional regulatory law, with a strong background in investigative procedures and managing complex regulatory cases. THE PACKAGE:
This role offers an executive level compensation package that reflects its Director level responsibilities. Benefits include a generous non contributory pension scheme and 29 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
