Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Physics to students in accordance with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration
- Support the overall welfare and well-being of students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of Physics education and implement best practices in teaching
Requirements
- A degree in Physics or a related field with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students
- A passion for Physics and a commitment to creating a stimulating learning environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A positive and professional attitude, with a growth mindset and a willingness to continuously improve as an educator
