Key Responsibilities of the Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary
- Conduct actuarial valuations and calculations for pension schemes
- Assess and manage pension scheme risks
- Provide advice and recommendations on pension scheme design and funding strategies
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement pension solutions
Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary
- Strong knowledge of UK Pension consulting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret and explain complex pensions data clearly
- Progressing towards or recently achieved IFoA qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
