An excellent opportunity is available for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking school in Ealing. The successful candidate will foster a passion for scientific discovery, encouraging students to develop critical inquiry skills and a deep understanding of scientific principles. This role involves delivering engaging lessons that promote hands-on investigation and real-world application, inspiring students to explore the natural world.
The Role
The Science Teacher will:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5, encompassing Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (or specific specialisms).
- Design and lead practical experiments, encouraging data analysis and scientific reasoning.
- Nurture an understanding of scientific methodologies and their relevance to global issues.
- Contribute to departmental activities, including STEM clubs and science fairs.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:
- Possesses a strong curiosity for scientific inquiry and a passion for teaching.
- Is skilled at creating interactive and investigative learning experiences.
- Demonstrates a proven ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles.
- Is a supportive and collaborative team member.
