Business Studies Teacher

Do you have a proven track record of teaching Business Studies and Computer Science to GCSE?

Do you have experience of working with learners outside the mainstream school system - or a sincere desire to teach these learners?

Horizon Teachers is looking for an individual with a very specific set of skills for this opportunity!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have QTS (desirable, but not essential)
  • Specialise in teaching Business Studies to GCSE
  • Be able to teach Computer Science to GCSE
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Have a range of behavioural strategies
  • Be flexible and resilient

This alternative provision is based in a central location with excellent facilities. The team is welcoming, supportive, and dedicated to helping their learners succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. They are rightly proud of the setting and their learners. Excellent subject knowledge is essential and the ability to meet learners where they are.

This is a long-term position to start asap but they will wait for the right person.
