About the role
Join a dynamic team at the forefront of epigenomics research, where your computational skills will help unravel the complexities of gene regulation in development and disease. This position focuses on computational analysis and method development for large-scale multiomics datasets, particularly those derived from single-cell, spatial, and 3D genome experiments in a variety of disease and developmental systems, such as, gametogenesis and early embryonic development. The successful candidate will work closely with experimental collaborators, contribute to the development of reproducible analytical pipelines, and explore new computational frameworks for integrating diverse data types. There will be opportunities to lead independent projects and co-supervise students.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate and creative computational scientist ready to tackle big questions in genome biology to join the Developmental Epigenomics group. The group, led by Juanma Vaquerizas, combines cutting-edge genomics with innovative computational approaches to understand how the genome is regulated during development and affected in disease. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in single-cell omics data analysis and visualisation, proficiency in Python and/or R and experience with statistical analysis, machine learning methods, and high-performance computing.
