- Salary: Pro-rata salary based on the Inner London Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS).
The Role
- The successful Teacher of Science will primarily teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), with some contribution to Key Stage 5 (A-Level) if experienced.
- The Teacher of Science will be responsible for providing engaging, high-quality instruction and maintaining the excellent practical standards within the laboratories.
- The Teacher of Science is required to contribute actively to the strong science faculty, sharing resources and best practice.
- The school seeks a qualified and passionate Teacher of Science to join its ambitious and highly effective department.
- Maintaining the department's strong track record of high achievement is core to the role of the Teacher of Science.
- The appointed Teacher of Science will mentor students and support the department's co-curricular science clubs.
- This maternity cover position requires a dedicated Teacher of Science committed to the success of all pupils.

Requirements
- A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Prior experience teaching Chemistry up to GCSE level is essential; A-Level experience is desirable.
