Paralegal - Senior Commercial Contracts - Alternative Investment Firm
Job Description
I’m currently working with a highly regarded international investment platform operating within the insurance and financial services space, looking to hire a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join their growing London team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lean, high-performing environment where you’ll gain exposure to complex, high-value transactions and work closely with senior stakeholders.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the legal and investment teams with the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial agreements and associated documentation. Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts
- Benchmarking new agreements against internal standards and templates
- Coordinating execution processes and ensuring timely completion of transactions
- Tracking contractual obligations, amendments, and key terms
- Extracting and maintaining key contractual data for internal systems
- Supporting legal documentation relating to transactions and fund activities
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency between agreed commercial terms and legal documentation
- Assisting with broader legal and operational matters as required
About You
- 3+ years’ experience working with commercial contracts (in-house or private practice)
- Strong experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation
- Excellent attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach
- Confident communicator, able to work with senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
