Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and qualified HVAC Engineer to join our team, servicing and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across a range of medical and healthcare facilities throughout London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring critical environments maintain optimal air quality, temperature control, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, split systems, and VRV/VRF units. * Carry out routine servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure system reliability and compliance with healthcare regulations. * Respond promptly to reactive breakdowns and emergency repairs. * Work closely with medical facility staff to minimise disruption during works and maintain cleanroom and infection control standards. * Complete job documentation accurately, including service reports and compliance records. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC regulations, particularly those relevant to healthcare settings (HTM, CIBSE, SFG20, etc.). Requirements: * Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HVAC engineer role. * Relevant HVAC qualifications including: * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating and Ventilation, or equivalent * F-Gas Category 1 Certification (essential) * City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in critical or controlled environments. * Valid UK driving licence (essential). * CSCS card and DBS check (or willingness to obtain). * Ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple London locations. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Desirable: * Experience working in NHS or private medical facilities. * Knowledge of BMS systems. * Additional qualifications (e.g., PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, etc.).
