Fire Extinguisher Engineer – Join a Growing National Team!
Salary: £32,500 – £39,000 per year Location: CENTRAL/ SOUTH EAST LONDON | Head Office: Leeds Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We’re a trusted electrical and fire safety servicing company with over 10 years of experience , supporting 65,000+ sites across the UK . From local authorities and housing associations to architects, developers and landlords, our client base is as varied as it is impressive.
With 150+ staff at our Leeds HQ and 100 fully qualified engineers nationwide , we’re continuing to grow — and now we’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but your core responsibilities will include:
Installing, servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers to British Standards
Carrying out site surveys and producing customer quotations
Working from a pre-planned diary arranged by our operations team
Communicating clearly with our office team to deliver outstanding customer service
Completing accurate job documentation
Managing your own stock and equipment
Keeping up to date with fire safety products and regulations
What We’re Looking For
You don’t just turn up — you take pride in your work. You’re:
A holder of a full UK driving licence (max 6 points, no DR10 in last 5 years)
Able to pass a Standard DBS check
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Detail-focused with strong problem-solving skills
Confident working independently in the field
Experience That Helps (But Isn’t Essential)
We’re happy to train the right person. Ideally, you’ll have:
FIA Servicing & Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers qualification
BAFE certification
Experience servicing fire extinguishers

⏰ Working Hours
Monday to Friday
45 hours per week between 07:00 – 18:00
No weekend working
