Application Support Analyst

The Role

As the Application Support Analyst, you will provide technical and functional support for our Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system and all integrations, including EDI systems. You will take a proactive approach that troubleshoots and optimizes application workflows while ensuring seamless business operations across our growing company. 

In this role you’ll get to:

• Serve as the primary contact for application support across departments, handling user queries and technical issues efficiently.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and EDI.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth system functionality.
• Manage EDI transactions, ensuring seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
• Provide guidance and training to users, helping them navigate system processes and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals and technical support procedures.
• Continuously monitor system performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
• Support the Head of IT in executing strategic projects and initiatives.

What we are looking for in you:

• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with a strong understanding of role-based access and the User Interface (UI).
• Experience with EDI, including: transaction processing, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to interact with business users across different departments, understanding their needs and providing tailored support.
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and incident management.
• Familiarity with SQL, ERP systems, and application interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize requests in a fast-paced environment.
