Electrical Technician

· Manages all aspects of Electrical works under their control. Including safety checks and industry standards, reporting an non-compliance
· Respond timeously on progress and to all requests from the Project Manager
· Liaise with other site teams to ensure works are completed.
· Complete quality checks of work to ensure required standards are met.
· Quality assure others work and where necessary highlight corrections to be made during site works.
· Monitor and report progress against plan, highlighting any delays to the Project Manager in order to mitigate and manage change in the project delivery.
· Communicate with the site teams prior to, during and after commissioning.
· Provide electrical support and knowledge to other team members.
· Complete handover documentation within the required timescales.
· Completion of NIC Certification for handover.
· Complete required Health & Safety actions on a site by site basis, recording and reporting on the Bilfinger UK Systems
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· Industrial Electrical Works
· Water Industry (desirable)
· Completed similar role
· Quality Assurance
· 18th Edition IEE Regulations
· 18th Edition IEE Regulations
· ECS Card
· Certification/Qualification in Electrical /Electronic Engineering.
· Water Card (EUSR) (Not Essential)
· Thames Water Passport (Not Essential)
· 2391 Inspection (desirable)
· Good communication skills
· Good Organisational skills
· Attention to detail/quality
· Time management
· High level of discretion and confidentiality
