Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Geography to primary and secondary school students.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Monitor and track student performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the overall development and improvement of the Geography curriculum.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, assessment, and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field.
- Teaching qualification and valid teaching certification.
- Relevant experience teaching Geography to primary and/or secondary school students.
- Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
