Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Geography to primary and secondary school students.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Monitor and track student performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to the overall development and improvement of the Geography curriculum.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, assessment, and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field.
• Teaching qualification and valid teaching certification.
• Relevant experience teaching Geography to primary and/or secondary school students.
• Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
