Senior Associate

As part of the Abion team, you’ll collaborate with our international network of IP professionals, working on a diverse portfolio of cases and clients. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and delivering exceptional legal services.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate, your primary responsibility will be to manage and assist in a variety of legal, trademark, and IP matters within your practice area. Senior Associates play a crucial role in providing legal advice, conducting research, drafting documents, and interacting with clients to contribute to the firm's success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the full process, from acquiring new clients to managing billing and time tracking. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, prospecting, and engaging with potential clients.
Drive revenue growth by bringing in own clients and do effectively cross-selling and upselling products/services to existing clients.
Take a proactive role in managing cases, transactions, or matters, ensuring their efficient progression.
Build and maintain client relationships by understanding client needs, providing regular case updates, addressing concerns, and offering strategic legal advice.
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, motions, briefs, agreements, applications and transactional documents.
Record billable hours accurately and assist in preparing client invoices, if required.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, we believe that you are a team player with strong collaboration and leadership skills. You can easily connect with new people and have the ability to communicate with different stakeholders. You are a problem-solver with high integrity, managing sensitive information with confidentiality.
We also expect that you have:
Bar admission and at least 5 years of experience.
Track-record of trademark law and IP law.
Proactive approach in participating in training, professional development opportunities, and ongoing learning initiatives.
Focus on finding efficiencies and better solutions through technology
