Geography Teacher – Lead Physical Geography Modules Across KS4/5 – Waltham Forest

A progressive and community-focused secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an experienced and analytical Geography Teacher with expertise in Physical Geography from January 2026.

  • Geography Teacher required from January 2026.
  • Waltham Forest-based school with a clear community focus and excellent local links.
  • Ideal for a teacher passionate about Geomorphology, Climate Change, and the use of data and GIS in the curriculum.

You will teach Geography across KS3-KS5. The role includes planning fieldwork-intensive lessons that develop complex physical systems knowledge, with a focus on enhancing quantitative skills across GCSE and A-Level.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in Geography.
  • Experience in planning and leading successful GCSE fieldwork in local and coastal environments.
  • Strong ability to teach both Physical and Human Geography at A-Level.
  • Expertise in using GIS and geographical data in the classroom.
