An Outstanding Secondary School in Croydon is looking to appoint an organised and experienced Examinations Officer to join its administration team. The examinations team plays an important role in coordinating internal assessments and external examinations, working closely with teaching staff, senior leaders and examination boards to ensure that all arrangements run smoothly.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the administration and coordination of examinations across the school. Duties will include managing examination entries, preparing examination timetables, organising examination rooms and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed accurately.

The role will involve liaising with examination boards, communicating arrangements to students and staff, coordinating invigilators and ensuring examination regulations are followed. The Examinations Officer will also maintain accurate records, manage access arrangements in conjunction with relevant colleagues and assist with results administration.

Requirements

Applicants should have strong administrative and organisational skills, with previous experience in examinations administration being highly desirable. Candidates must be confident using databases and Microsoft Office, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working to strict deadlines.
