Business Development Executive
A bit about Forest
We’re Forest. You know, those shared ebikes in London that look like trees. We’re London’s most sustainable shared ebike operator. Our mission is to help cities move greener-and we’re growing fast.
We're now launching Forest for Business - a brand-new solution that helps companies reduce travel costs, supports sustainability goals and gives employees a simple way to travel across London. With a flat rate of £3 per trip, it's a smarter, more affordable alternative to taxis for business travel.
A bit about the role
We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to help launch Forest for Business and establish it as London's leading business mobility solution.
This is an opportunity to build something, not simply sell it.
As one of the first people dedicated to Forest for Business, you'll have the freedom to test ideas, shape how we sell and play a key role in building our commercial approach from the ground up.
Alongside a competitive salary and uncapped commission , you'll work directly with our senior leadership, Product and Technology teams, ensuring customer feedback helps shape what we build next.
If you enjoy winning new business, spotting opportunities and want to make a genuine impact in a fast-growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
Your key responsibilities include:
Winning new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and strategic partnerships.
Managing the full sales journey, from first conversation through to onboarding.
Building relationships with HR, Operations, Workplace, Sustainability, Facilities and Finance decision-makers.
Building and maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline using HubSpot.
Developing creative new routes to market that generate scalable growth.
Representing Forest at networking events and within London's business community.
Working closely with our Product and Technology teams to improve the customer experience and influence the product roadmap.
Who you are:
You have experience in business development, sales or account management.
You're comfortable using a CRM such as HubSpot (preferred).
You take ownership and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment.
You think commercially and spot opportunities others might overlook.
You're proactive, curious and enjoy finding creative ways to win new business.
You stay resilient when things don't go to plan and enjoy solving problems.
You're confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
Location
We love spending time in the office together, with 4 days a week in our office and 1 day a week working from home.
If you require a more flexible working arrangement, please still apply! We're happy to discuss it further with you at the interview stage.
What you’ll get in return
Free Forest bike rides for you and a +1
25 days holiday pro rata + bank holidays
Private Medical Insurance & Cashplan
♀️Therapy and career coaching sessions through MYNDUP
Annual personal development budget
Free lunch on Fridays
Enhanced Parental Leave
Regular Socials
Birthday off
Childcare salary sacrifice
Equal opportunities
Forest is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, bias, or harassment.
If you'd like to share your pronouns, please let us know.
If there's any reasonable adjustments we can include to make our application process easier for you (due to disability, neurodiversity or anything else) please let us know so we can support you.
Want to create a greener future with us? Join us, and Let's reForest the world together!
