We are seeking an inspirational, exceptionally qualified, and committed Mathematics Teacher to join the thriving faculty at a highly academic secondary school located in the prestigious Kensington area of Central London.

This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026 .

The Opportunity

The successful applicant will be an outstanding Maths specialist with a profound passion for the subject and the ability to inspire and challenge intellectually curious, high-achieving students. You will be joining an environment where students frequently achieve top grades and progress to study Mathematics or related subjects at Oxbridge and leading Russell Group universities. This role focuses on exceptional classroom practice, fostering deep conceptual understanding, and potentially assisting with Oxbridge preparation.

To secure an exceptional candidate, this role includes a generous Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum . This financial incentive is a purely financial reward designed to support excellent teachers and their commitment to our school community.

We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
  • A proven track record as an excellent Mathematics Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level and Further Mathematics) .
  • A deep pedagogical understanding and the ability to teach complex concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.
  • The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school and support high-achieving pupils.

Salary and Benefits

  • Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.

    • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale (The Inner London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £40,317 as of September 2025).
  • A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
  • Excellent, structured professional development and career progression pathways.
