Conrad Consulting Ltd
City of London, Greater London
A well-established independent project management consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects, spanning all RIBA stages, with exposure to high-profile developments across London and the surrounding areas. Experience with NEC contracts would be highly advantageous.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage projects across all RIBA stages, from inception through to completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, building strong relationships and facilitating effective communication.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and cost management strategies, to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project outcomes.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practice.
Provide regular project updates to clients and senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive project execution.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience managing public and private sector projects, ideally across all RIBA stages.
Experience leading projects through design and construction phases, with a strong understanding of project management best practice.
NEC contract experience is desirable but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
Relevant degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) are advantageous.
Willingness to work on projects based in London and the surrounding areas.
