Head of Retail Partnerships (Apparel)
Location: Remote (EU)
Travel: Across UK & Europe
Reports to: Senior Commercial Leadership
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Partner to drive growth by building and strengthening partnerships with leading UK retailers and fashion brands. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships, securing listings, and managing wholesale accounts within the apparel and textile sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning business with major retailers and an in-depth understanding of the UK fashion and retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Relationship Management
- Identify and engage with key retail accounts (e.g., department stores, fashion chains, sports retailers).
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional agreements to maximize profitability.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with retail partners.
- Account Growth & Sales Strategy
- Deliver revenue targets through effective account planning and execution.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-through performance, ensuring alignment with seasonal collections.
- Collaborate with internal teams on product assortment and merchandising strategies.
- Market Intelligence & Networking
- Stay informed on fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to strengthen brand presence.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in wholesale/key account management within apparel, footwear, or textiles.
- Strong network and experience working with major UK retailers (e.g., fashion chains, department stores, sports retailers).
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing P&L for accounts.
- Knowledge of seasonal buying cycles, merchandising, and compliance standards.
- Ability to travel regularly across the UK and Europe.
