Nanny

We are seeking a warm, active, and nature-loving Live-in Nanny to join a wonderful family in the charming town of Mill Valleyjust 20 minutes from San Francisco. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an outdoor lifestyle and is looking for a long-term position within a welcoming and engaged family home. The children are 6 and 4 years old.

Schedule

40–60 hours per week (flexible arrangement)
The family is open to a nanny who wishes to cover 40 hours, with a part-time nanny covering additional hours if needed
Duties Include

Managing the children’s daily routines and schedules
Organising and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities — with a focus on outdoor and nature-based play
Supporting homework, reading, and educational development
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Driving the children to activities, appointments, and outings
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and good manners
Working collaboratively and professionally as part of the household team
The Ideal Candidate

Passionate about outdoor activities — hiking, biking, beach walks, and forest adventures
Settled and mature in character; someone who will genuinely enjoy and integrate into the Mill Valley community
Warm, nurturing, and energetic with a genuine love of working with children
A confident driver with a clean driving licence
A background in childcare, education, or a related field is highly desirable
Must hold a US passport or have the right to work in the United States
Salary: $80-90K gross per year for 45h per week including a max. of 2 nights cover per week

Start date: June 2026

A minimum of 2 years’ relevant childcare experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
