My Client a major Building & Civil Engineering Company require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team in London due to recent growth and expansion.

The company has an impressive portfolio in Civil Engineering to include Motorway projects up to £300M, water treatment plants to the value of £40M and gas pipeline projects to value of £50M.

The Role

My Client requires a Civils Quantity Surveyor with 10 years' experience covering heavy groundworks, drainage and formwork.

Typical Responsibilities:-

• Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost/value reporting
• Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place
• Update monthly CVR
• Carry out effective cost management
• Responsibility for subcontract letting negotiation and financial accounting
• Prepare applications for payment
• Contribute towards effective interaction between commercial and operational site teams
• Effective Variation management and reporting
• Liaise with the client and other third parties on commercial issues.

Requirements:-

• 10+ years' experience in a civil engineering Quantity Surveying Capacity
• Quantity surveying degree or other relevant construction discipline
• Experience in commercial management
• Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting
• Excellent time management skills
