About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. It has since expanded to include The Ned NoMad in New York, The Ned Doha, and Ned’s Club Washington DC. Each property is unique and tailored to its location, but the ethos of The Ned remains the same: to create a space for like-minded professionals to meet, work, and have a good time.

The Ned City of London, where this role is based, houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars, and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Spa, ensuring exceptional standards of service, presentation, and efficiency at all times
• Act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the Spa and wider Wellness facilities during assigned shifts
• Create an atmosphere of warmth and welcome across all wellness spaces, ensuring every guest journey feels relaxed, personal, and memorable from arrival through to treatment and post-care
• Guide the team to strong commercial performance through effective labour management, product knowledge, upselling initiatives, and the onboarding of new Spa Reception team members
• Manage stock control processes, including stock rotation, stock takes, ordering, and maintaining agreed par levels to support operational needs
• Partner closely with our wellness, rooms, housekeeping, and membership teams to deliver an outstanding and seamless experience for members and hotel guests
• Handle guest feedback with confidence, finding solutions that protect both guest experience and The Ned's reputation

What you can bring to the role:

• Previous experience in a luxury spa or wellness environment is essential, and supervisory or leadership experience would be preferred
• A Pool Responder certification is desirable, as this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and readiness to respond to pool-related incidents. However, full training can be provided and we can support you in obtaining this certification
• A passion for hospitality and wellbeing, with the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Strong organisational and operational skills, with the ability to balance commercial focus and people leadership
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
• A calm, grounded presence that sets the tone for the spa environment
• Experience with compliance, and wellness‑related health and safety is highly beneficial
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with the needs of the business.
